Wedding invitations are truly a place where you can showcase your personality. There are certain ways that you can “fancy up” your invitations to let your fun side shine and excite your guests when they receive them in the mail. Here are some of my favorite tricks for doing so.
Envelope Liners | Calligraphy and Vintage Stamps | Custom Confetti
The first thing that your guests will see when they open your invitation is the flap of your envelope, so this is an area that you can really make pop. There are a variety of fun colors, patterns, and textures of envelope liners that you can choose from. Many stationers will include this option in their packages, but you can also create DIY envelope liners if you are the crafty type.
I think that investing in a calligrapher is an excellent idea, because it immediately adds an extra flair of elegance to your invitations. Vintage stamps, or custom stamps, are another way to add flair and make all of the elements of your invitation match. You can find vintage stamps on Etsy and custom stamps on Zazzle.
I also love the idea of adding something 3D to your invitations. I am currently loving the custom confetti by The Confetti Bar. She has a wide variety of colors you can choose from, and she can create custom pieces for you from your initials to a custom shape that you are using throughout your wedding design. How fun and fancy is that?
Do you have any ideas for how else you can fancy up your invitations? I’d love to hear in the comments below!
