Meet Nicolle In 2011 while on maternity leave from her teaching position, Nicolle Spitulnik opened a little etsy shop with seven printable invitation designs that quickly caught the eye of Pinterest-moms everywhere. Armed with self-taught graphic design skills, Nicolle knew the time had come to switch roles and take a seat in the classroom to learn more about this new passion for design. As Nicolle’s passion for graphic design grew so did Libby Lane Press. Nicolle dabbled in custom wedding design, offered branding and collateral design services, and took on freelance writing opportunities with noteworthy brands and blogs, all to come full circle to original heart of Libby Lane Press: Moms and the littles they adore. The purposeful products and designs with distinctive style have garnered the attention of trusted craft destinations such as MarthaStewart.com and publications such as Parenting magazine. The mission of Libby Lane Press is simple, yet rooted in everything that matters most. We create paper + products that celebrate the adventure of being a child and the art of being a parent.
Meet Libby The sweet smell of honeysuckle floating across a twilight sky. That first bite of a buttery homemade biscuit. The sound of a rocking chair creaking softly against a well-worn porch. Designer Nicolle Spitulnik may call the suburbs of Washington, D.C. her home, but the inspiration behind Libby Lane Press is as southern as pecan pie. Nicolle’s grandmother Elizabeth is the real Libby of Libby Lane Press. A sweet southern gal from Alabama who is as comfortable whipping up sausage biscuits as she is shelling peas in the dead of summer. Libby, or Memom as she is called by her grandchildren, has always been a source of inspiration for Nicolle. When searching for the perfect moniker for her business, Nicolle had to look no further than the wonderful woman who introduced her to boiled peanuts and moon pies so many summers ago.
